About Blessing Liveaboard

The Story Behind Blessing

Blessing Liveaboard began the way most phinisi do — as a stack of ironwood beams on a beach in South Sulawesi, shaped by boatbuilders whose families have been lofting hulls by eye for generations. We commissioned her with one brief: build a 30-meter phinisi that could carry twenty guests through Komodo National Park in genuine comfort, without losing the character of a traditional two-masted Indonesian sailing yacht. She launches in January 2026, and we have spent the years leading up to that date obsessing over the details that decide whether a charter feels ordinary or unforgettable.

Built for Full-Boat Private Charter

We designed Blessing around the private full-boat format because that is how Komodo is best experienced. When the whole vessel is yours, the itinerary bends to you — a longer sunrise on Padar because the light is perfect, an extra dive at Manta Point because the current is delivering, dinner moved to the foredeck because the sky demands it. Our tiered charter rates of IDR 69.3M, 85.4M, and 98.5M cover the full boat for your group, and every departure runs the route we know inside out: Labuan Bajo to Padar Island, the Komodo dragon trekking trails, Pink Beach, and the manta cleaning stations at Manta Point.

A Serious Diving Boat

Several of us came to this project as divers first and hoteliers second, and it shows. Blessing carries a full complement of dive equipment, a dedicated tender for drops and pickups, and crew who read Komodo’s currents the way most people read a menu. Whether your group wants gentle reef sessions at Siaba or drift dives for experienced certification holders, the diving program is planned around conditions on the day, not a laminated schedule.

Part of the Komodo Luxury Fleet

Blessing is operated as part of the Komodo Luxury fleet — a luxury yacht charter operator headquartered in Bali with operational bases in Labuan Bajo, more than a decade of experience in these waters, and a TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award to show for it. Komodo Luxury owns and manages a growing fleet of ultra-luxury phinisi, including the flagship Komodo Signature alongside Ayvara and Malca, and also handles yacht investment and professional yacht management for owners. For us, being part of this fleet means shared safety standards, experienced captains and dive guides, and an operations team on the ground in Labuan Bajo every single day. Official booking for Blessing runs through komodoluxury.com, with our team reachable on WhatsApp at +62 811-3823-875.

What to Expect When You Sail With Us

The practical side is simple. You fly into Labuan Bajo (LBJ), we handle the rest. Komodo National Park entry is IDR 650,000 per person, paid alongside your trip. The dry season from April to November brings the calmest seas and the best visibility, though the park is beautiful year-round. A 50% deposit confirms your dates, with the balance due fourteen days before departure. From the moment you step off the jetty, our crew of local professionals — most of them from Flores and the surrounding islands — take over, and the only decision left to you is which deck to watch the sunset from.

We named her Blessing because that is what it feels like to work in this national park every day. We look forward to sharing it with you.
